Commissioned by Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, RIJK has designed a photography project. The street scene of Berlin had to be visualized. The living environment and people in the city have become the face for tourists in Berlin.
In the streets of Berlin I started taking portrait photos of passers-by. In order to create the best possible image of Berlin, I have recorded the people in definitive states of Berlin.
The project’s mission is to put Berlin more on the map for young people. I made the choice to photograph different parts of Berlin and to convert them into a concept called “Berlin Calling”. Inspired by the culture and appearance of the city.
